Vertor.com was launched just nearly six month ago and since that time it has already reached very nice figures in statistics that you can see and analyze on the site as well. The traffic has been growing over those six months and from that the Vertor's Team understood that the service they introduced to the users in the Internet was the one extremely needed. BitTorrent community just felt it and moderators keep doing their work every day providing their users with the latest high quality files.
There is a disadvantage of verifying all the torrent files though. As it takes some time to check everything, it can take one or two days before a fresh torrent file appears on the site, which may be a problem for those people who want to catch up with the latest TV-episode or music file. But on the server side, the drawback is that these processes require some extra hardware (VerTor's moderators use 6 Dual Xeons with 4 GB ram and 500GB of hard disk space).It is therefore no surprise that it takes a couple if weeks to verify, check torrent files before the Vertor.Com project could go live.
Apart from the verification, Vertor.Com also has one more user friendly feature, as it allows its users to download torrent files in their browser with Bitlet, just by clicking the link "download from the web" on the torrent detail page. By now, the site Vertor is absolutely free from advertisement, and the founders hope that they will try to keep it like that for as long as possible.
